A statement by Jeff Musser: “When I learned about my fathers diagnosis of early onset dementia, HEAVY was the only word that seemed adequate to describe my new situation. I cannot express how it feels to watch this wonderful man slowly fade in front of me. I have tried to portray the anguish, fear, and uncertainty in a small sketch, but I am unsure of its success. It is after all, it is only a sketch. Regardless of how the piece may or may not work, once I made it, I wanted tobcheck in on my friends to see how they were doing.
